Carl was brought up in the Penwortham area and he was very keen on helping young people. As a result he offered his skills and knowledge in sport to children in New York, USA. He was a valid member of the team, building strong relationships with many families and workers. Unfortunately after a tragic accident and brave battle Carl passed away on the 10th October, 1999.

Today young people can easily follow a path that leads them to live their lives in an antisocial way. Sutty’s Shooting Stars feel that if young people can feel the team spirit, commitment and support that can be enjoyed in a physical activity, then they could feel this in other areas of their lives.

So often young people and their opinions are dismissed and for many reasons. We all lead busy lives and often we neglect the simple joys found in being active together and having ourselves heard. Sutty’s Shooting Stars wants to offer support to young people to do this.

We Have Spent a Few Years raising funds and our profile and now we are looking to the future. We need your support to do this.

Carl Sutton was a champion example of a young man and believed that the champion was in each and every child and adult.
